This 50 bead ABACUS FOR COUNTING is great for learning traditional base 10 math. Each of the 5 wooden dowels has 10 wooden beads in five primary colours. A different colour bead set on each dowel.
The beads move easily along each dowel as children use all of their learning senses, touch, visual and cerebral... even hearing the beads click together... all working together to make math problems easier to understand.
And, it is beautiful enough to leave out on display. Great for home schoolrooms to bring math to life! Solid construction. Beads are not removable.
