The definition of a classic children's book can mean many things to different people! By no means is this even close to a complete list of Classic Children's stories. Please let us know of a beloved book you wish we carried. Many original stories are being re-published for a new generation of lucky children.

If a story is still being re-told over a century after original publication, then of course all the Grimm Brother Fairy Tales, and those written by Hans Christian Andersen, and the Fables by Aesop all certainly deserve to be included here! Many books in this collection were originally published, and/or written in the early 1900's. Others, are included because of their import to the world of Children's literature, and enduring love from readers... both young, and old.
